I am a lifelong gardener, having inherited the love of plants from my mother. From my father, a photographer came the gift of an artist's eye. The result of this combination is an appreciation and passion for designing great gardens.

I love to read about new cultivars in magazines, or to discover new nurseries or mail-order suppliers of specialty bulbs. I am never satisfied with the ordinary, always seeking uncommon plants to use in my designs. Colour and texture in foliage is a priority as, unlike flowers, they last all season.

My current 30 'x 50' suburban garden has been evolving for the past twelve years. At this point I have run out of space for any more new plants, so I am very much looking forward to putting my creative energy into your garden.
